About Us

The Technical Resources Program - Supporting Timber Education & Training aims to deliver resources that enable learning about the use of timber in the building industry.

• It offers assistance to lecturers at Australian tertiary institutions as they prepare courses or units that include timber. Access to up-to-date resources ensures graduates are well rounded in their education, and equipped to use timber confidently and competently.
• It has developed a number of on-line learning and reference resources that make it easier for students to obtain quality information on timber used in Australian buildings. (The learning resources are designed to enable students to "drill down" to the level that gives them the information they need for their studies. They follow a logical learning sequence so that each page builds on the information of the previous pages.)
